Italia - Week 1 - Roma

Our first week was in Roma, the city to that stole my heart. A very walkable city, we covered miles of ground on foot, sweat through all our clothes and saw the most incredible sights. We ate amazing food, sipped the finest espresso, I fell in love, and oogled the beautiful Italian men dressed in the finest suits. We hit the hots spots: The Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon. We covered Vatican City (the world smallest country) from having an audience the Pope, the Sistine Chapel, to St. Peter's Basillica.  We did a day at the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and ruins.  Sun up until sun down, we we on the move, seeing, eating, exploring, loving every minute.

My personal favorite place was Villa Borghese, we went back a couple times. Think Central Park but prettier, cleaner, with people making out everywhere, and sculptures, on a hill overlooking Rome.  It was perfect and breath-taking.

The pictures don't even due it justice.  No words or pictures can.
