Just a Boy and a Girl in a Little Canoe

After work on Friday, CT and I were aching to take advantage of the almost summer-esque evening Seattle was trying to pull off.  Luckily, CT's uncle owns a canoe and a home conveniently located near Lake Washington.  Conveniently awesome.  So we rolled the boat a few blocks down to the water and set out to see the lake up close and personal.

On that lovely evening we paddled around, took in the majesty that is Mt. Rainer at sunset and watched a bald eagle pluck a fish out of the water for dinner.  Seattle never ceases to amaze me.

It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend. Also, I didn't fall in so....bonus.
